As we ventured to Byron Bay to shoot our SS18 womens campaign, we made time to visit Bangalow. This small quaint town is a 20 minute drive from Byron Bay. It's a cute town that has a chilled vibe, but is still away from the busy streets of Byron. Bangalow has one main street that holds the cutest stores and coffee shops. We got to look in a few of these stores and buy fresh produce from the local supermarket. Bangalow is close to the beaches of Byron, but also gives you an insight into the beautiful countryside of the area. It really is the best of both worlds. If you're wanting to visit Byron bay but are wanting to stay somewhere smaller and quieter, then this is the town for you.
The Farm Byron Bay is a functional working farm that fosters a community of growers, producers, eateries and education on produce. We recently got to visit the gorgeous farm on a work trip and we were not disappointed. We were lucky enough to eat at the delicious Three Blue Ducks restaurant and wander the grounds of this gorgeous place. The sun was shining and this little oasis was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine that we hadn't seen in sometime. This place caters for the whole family. Be sure to pop it on your must visit list next time you visit the Byron Bay area. Sometimes you stumble upon a place that is complete utter magic, where imagery just doesn't give it justice. This is the amazing feeling you get upon visiting the gorgeous Temple Farmhouse. We were recently lucky enough to shoot our womenswear campaign in this beautiful house, perched on a hill and overlooking the surrounding farmland in Nashua NSW. It's hard to describe the peace and sense of calmness that one place can bring. You wake in the morning to wallabies playing outside and different birdlife frolicking on the surrounded well manicured lawns. Temple Farmhouse isn't an adults only retreat, which made us even bigger fans. They cater for all members of the family, making it one of the most family friendly places we have come across in all our travels. They have a considered pool with the most beautiful views surrounded by secure pool fencing , a swing set that overlooks the neighbouring rolling hills and an outside play areas for the kids complete with the most equiste tiles and outdoor play kitchen that will keep the kids busy for hours . There is a large kitchen and we recommend grabbing all your supplies prior to getting to the house, as it is a small 10 minute drive from town and once you arrive you won't want to leave. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with or without the kids, this place is perfect to rest, recharge and enjoy. They have a large fire pit that again makes the for the most divine view and is perfect to unwind by. And a hit with the kids, where they can do some marshmallow toasting. While we were lucky to have three days to experience the joy of Temple Farmhouse, we left recharged feeling like we'd had a two week holiday. I have included the link here for anyone wanting to experience this little slice of heaven, and heaven it is with the kindest and most thoughtful hosts. If you are looking for a place that will hold those family memories tight for many years to come, this is the place. Thanks to the gorgeous Temple Farmhouse for sharing your special place x
