  If you love our brand, you'll already know we pride ourselves on making our products from cotton. From our crochet toys to our knit and woven clothing, we have always worked with 100% cotton natural fibres.  The true beginnings of our cotton use came out of a need. Our first born was born with allergies and suffered from eczema quite badly in the initial years. As a result, it had us seeking natural cotton fibre toys, which 10 years ago were nearly non existent. Most toys and baby clothing was mixed with acrylic or wool, which agitated and activated our baby boys skin further.  The use of cotton has become a pillar of our brand despite the limitations that sometimes come in design with using this fibre as a base. Natural fibres are an investment and despite raising costs we still remain super loyal to cotton as our main fabrication.  We talk a lot about natural fibres and we want to show you why we choose to use these in our ranges every time, and some of the reasons why we believe in this magic fibre so much.    Cotton breathes - It is a yarn that is easy on the skin and the fabric allows your skin to breathe reducing the amount of sweat - we all want to avoid those sticky situations and we have all had one experience with a garment that has you sweating like no other. These garments are normally made from a synthetic fibre and should be avoided for this reason.  Cotton is comfortable to wear - Even when the skin heats up it doesn't make the fabric itchy or scratchy on the skin or have little ones complaining.  Easy to care for - All our cotton products are durable and easy to launder and should be treated like a cotton t-shirt. This is definitely why it is our fabric of choice when it comes to kids wear. Any parent will relate to the rigorous washing of clothing that must stand up with little ones and this is why cotton remains our fabrication of choice.  This season we have continued our use of cotton in our womens range. This meant having to be careful with weights to get our desired drape on many of our designs.  With increasingly busy lives, we want to simplify the laundering process and strongly believe that this is another huge benefit to cotton, along with the extended longevity of a garment with the use of this fibre.  We encourage you to trial wearing natural fibres before you invest in a whole wardrobe.   We couldn't be more excited about releasing our first ever range of womens woven and jersey! We have worked long and hard on this little range.  We were lucky enough to shoot this campaign at Temple Farmhouse just out of Byron Bay. This was such a dreamy shoot and had us ready for the warmer weather. This range was inspired by our life by the sea and simple coastal living, so this place was the perfect location to shoot. This collection is made from gorgeous soft cotton that is perfect for the warmer months. A natural fibre that breathes and is light on the skin. Like our kids range, we have a strong focus on prints this season. Classic Stripes are a huge feature in the range and are a classic print that will always have a place in your wardrobe. Our colour palette is hues of blue and pink, with punches of navy and black.   Make a statement this spring summer season in our Eliza Knit Dress. The contrasting pink stripes are a stand out and are perfect for every season. This piece offers some serious style and comfort, which is what we all aim for, right? The front button detail is completely functional and perfect for any breastfeeding mum. The waist tie detail adds shape to this style and can easily be removed to be worn without or swapped for a belt.  Style back with slides and a cute little rattan bag for a timeless summer brunch date outfit or add a cardigan to stay warm in the summer breeze. MEET LOLA. Our new knit tie waist dress.  This is the perfect dress to take from day to night and is one that you can simply chuck on without having to put in much effort at all (winning!). A loosely shaped short sleeve dress, that is knee length and features front and back V neckline details. The waist tie allows the dress to be tied in if desired. This tie can also be removed and the dress can be worn alone, with a belt or with a belt bag, making it a versatile piece.  Being made from the finest 100% cotton yarn, this dress is lightweight and is bound to be comfortable all day and night long. It will breathe in the summer and can also be layered over jeans with a cardi and boots when it gets cooler. The navy colour is something that will fit into your wardrobe easily, and can be paired back with any other colour you currently have in your closet.    Style tips* With it's v neckline, I personally love this dress worn back with some layered fine chains and a pair of natural wedges. This is a more dressy approach to the dress and allows for some lipstick and leather jacket to be added.  For a more casual look, I love this paired with tan sandals and tortoise earrings for a great Spring Summer look. When I'm going shopping or for coffee, I wear my dress with trainers, belt bag and a denim jacket if it's cooler. The Audrey Tie Knit Jumpsuit is the ultimate comfortable overall style jumpsuit and is a must have this season. With its wide leg and V back detail, it is sure to make a statement.  The shoulder ties are the key to this jumpsuit. Being able to adjust the shoulder ties to fit the length of your upper body makes this jumpsuit adaptable to different heights. Whether you want to wear it drop crotch or fitted, you will be able to by adjusting the shoulder ties. I find when wearing my Audrey jumpsuit, I make sure the elastic band is sitting on my waist and then I tie up from there. The elastic also caters for growing baby bumps, making this piece great for maternity wear. I am obsessed with navy and mustard as a combination this season, so pairing this jumpsuit over our Demi Knit Singlet IS my go to outfit this season. I also love this paired over a white t shirt for a casual look.   Going through your whole wardrobe to find the perfect combination is often a challenge. Generally i’m looking for a comfortable but stylish outfit for weekend activities with the kids.  Hence we have produced the relaxed Kimmy Knit Jumpsuit. This style is designed to be loose fitting and features pockets and a drop crotch. It is made from 100% natural cotton fibres, making it perfect to breathe in the warmer month, but will be also be warm when it's cooler. As the weather starts to get cooler, it's time to layer up. Winter for me is all about dressing in different textures and quality chunky knits.  In recent years, I have struggled to find quality knitwear that doesn't peel and that only lasts one season. Mum. Mother. Mama. She's special that one. Mother's Day to me is all about memory making and spending quality time with my family. Mother's Day is a great time of year, where I can celebrate just how great my mum really is, and I'm sure you'll all doing the same.  I love spoiling mum on Mother's Day.
